Former Spain and Real Madrid star Fernando Hierro, announced Monday resigned as the general manager of Malaga, after less than a year take office.
"This is a personal decision that I have expressed to the owner of the club. I think is a good time to step back so as not to affect the future plans," said Hoerro a news conference.
According to media reports, Hierro has a different opinion with club boss Sheikh Abdallah Ben owned by Nasser Al-Thani, a member of the ruling family in Qatar.
He did cap (cap) 89 times for Spain and former defensive player in midfield was 44-year-old general manager of Malaga last August with a four-year life of the bond. He left his job as derektur sport in the country's national team.
Malaga are fourth in La Liga last season and will play in the Champions League preliminary round for the first time next season.
