Five Tips to Getting rid of mosquitoes

Summer is a time for black flies and mosquitoes are rampant. We speak with activists and women's outdoor activities are very enamored with fishing, Mariko Izumi, host of WFN (World Fishing Network). We want to get tips to help us keep it free of insects in the summer without spraying anything.

Avoid mosquito-prone
"First of all, avoid standing water, which is a breeding-ground for mosquitoes," said Izumi. These include places such as bird baths (bird bath) and even the cover in the pool, which can collect puddles of rainwater. Make sure you clear the whole place could cause flooding on a regular basis.

Note the clothing
Another way to distance themselves from insects is to wear light colored clothing when you move out of the room. "After all this is natural because we also do not want the heat," Izumi said, "We know that in addition to be a hot black dress worn, it will also attract mosquitoes."

Do not use strong fragrances
Perfumes with strong smell, like perfume, cologne, and even scented shampoo and conditioner is a magnet for mosquitoes. "In summer it is better not wear it all or at least use them less than usual," said Izumi.

Mosquitoes are also attracted to things that are sweet and fragrant, so Izumi reminded to cover food or drink when you're outside.

Keep an eye on the garden
Because mosquitoes are attracted to places of shade, is a good idea to keep always take care of your garden. "If you let the leaves and grass grow very long, it will cause more and more mosquitoes that live there," Izumi said, "So of course maintaining the page during the summer is a good idea."

If forced to use spray
Izumi said, if he was outside the room or in the waters in the morning and evening when mosquito activity reached its peak, he would use the insecticide to distance themselves from mosquito bites.

Such as sunscreen, insect powder should be used repeatedly in order to remain effective.
