Indonesia back child excel on the world stage after the fourth grade student was nine years old, Keily Setiawan, managed to become the youngest author in the world by publishing a book called Chen Chen Goes to Space.
The book is published online by the computer manufacturer Apple's iTunes store and distributed in 32 countries on 28 April 2012. The book is now perched on the ranking of "200 Top Rated" category of books for free in the United States and Australia. This book can be read via the iPad.
"The publication of books on iTunes is not easy because it has to go through a rigorous editorial board. Council selects whether the contents of a book interesting and original," said Principal Sinarmas World Academy where learning Keily, John Mcbryde.
Book-Chen Chen Goes to Space tells of a rabbit who wants to become an astronaut. Keily book is written in two languages, namely Mandarin and English, and with illustrations created by Keily own.
Keily own, with fluent English, told reporters that the book Chen Chen Goes to Space she wrote as a gift to a newborn brother. Rabbit character he chose for his brother zodiac is symbolized by the beast.
"I am pleased that this book gets a lot of good comments. One was a mother in America who said that he downloaded Chen Chen Goes to Space to read to their children. She also recommends the book," said Keily.
At first, Apple rejected the book because it speaks Mandarin Keily. Keily, on the advice of his teacher, then add the English language.
Earlier, on Monday the children of Indonesia is also doing well in the Asian Physics Olympiad in India by winning two gold, one silver and two bronze.
