4.9 quake rattles Ruteng Flores SR

An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale (SR) shook Ruteng, the capital of Manggarai, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, on Tuesday afternoon at 10.30 WIT, said Chief Goefisika Station, Kupang, Margiono, in Kupang.

Data obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Kupang, said the epicenter was at 8:42 South Latitude (LS) and 120.71 east longitude (BT) or 35 KM Northeast Ruteng.
