MANCHESTER - Manchester United midfielder (Manchester United), Anderson, Paul Scholes assess the legendary player as an exceptional player. Nevertheless, he argues, the role of Scholes in the field could be replaced if all the United players to work collectively.
Scholes decided to retire at the end of last season. According to reports in England, Manchester United was eyeing some of the players as his successor, such as Luka Modric (Tottenham Hotspur), Samir Nasri (Arsenal), and Wesley Sneijder (Inter Milan).
Even so, according to Anderson, Manchester United did not need to find a replacement for Scholes. He said sure, the current squad who can replace players like Scholes versatile. From a personal standpoint, Anderson also saw the retirement of Scholes gave a positive impact on young players like him.
"Scholes incredible, he is a legend. However, (retirement Schloes) means giving more opportunities and space for me. Scholes is one of the players who helped me learn a lot. He is amazing. To me, he is the best midfielder in the world," said Anderson .
"I think Scholes is very important for the team because he has exceptional quality. However, I think all the players to work together to take over his position," Anderson finished.
