Hyundai Work On "Supercar"

Circulating rumors that Hyundai is now preparing supercar to rival the Chevy Corvette Z06, Nissan GT-R, Jaguar XK, BMW 650i, as well as the Porsche 911 and Cayman. 5.0-liter V8 engine as applied to the R-Spec sedan Genesis and Equus. Only, Hyundai is considering whether the location of the engine in the front or middle.

Hyundai CEO John Krafcik not confirm rumors supercar. He said that it "vile crap". But he said the rumors about the engine in the middle, it is still under consideration.

According to John, the management is planning to make a 5.0 liter engine capacity of aluminum which is now a mainstay of Genesis R-Spec with a maximum power of 429 HP. The question is, what kind of transmission is used to compensate for the heart of HP's 429-powered pacemaker?

Motion system is also still in the selection of wheels (front or rear). Motion all-wheel drive (all-wheel drive) is not considered. Besides the cost factor, the weight of the car is also a consideration.
