U2 Record History at the Toronto Film Festival


Documentary that tells the story of Irish rock band, U2, will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, Canada, September 8, 2011. As quoted by news agency Associated Press (AP), a movie called 'Down From the Sky' were recorded history as the first documentary film that screened at the opening of one of the largest film festivals in the world.

The documentary "Down From the Sky 'directed by well-known that familiar, namely Davis Guggenheim. He has been working on a sensational documentary about Al Gore's global warming campaign entitled 'An Inconvenient Truth'. The film tries to open the eyes of the world about global warming won two Oscars.

Guggenheim said the movie 'Down From the Sky' explores how the band with the hits "With or Without You 'that managed to survive and thrive. As is known band that formed in 1978 has spawned many hits album, like 'War', 'The Joshua Tree', 'Achtung Baby', and 'Zooropa'.

Cooperation between the Guggenheim and personnel to the U2 does not only happen this once. Previously, the director of the series 'Party of Five' and 'NYPD Blue' would never make a documentary film about three world-renowned electric guitarists, entitled 'It Might Get Loud'. Of the three electric guitarists are included the name of the U2 guitarist, The Edge.
