Batista understand Taunts Supporters Argentina

SANTA FE - Argentina national team coach, Sergio Batista, claimed to excuse the act of mocking the team supporters during the game against Colombia at the Estadio Brigadier General Estanislao Lopez, Thursday (07/07/2011), which ended 0-0 draw. According to Batista, it's reasonable considering the team's "Tango" was unable to make a goal and failed to win.
"The fans come here to see us win. We do not like things like this (teasing), but this is understandable," said Batista.

48-year coach also defended his attacker, Lionel Messi, who again failed to shine. Messi was able to show the sharpness of his usual show with Barca.

"They closed the space very well Lionel. These things do not go as you wish Messi. It is a compliment to our opponents."

Despite failing to reap the full points from two games that have been traversed, Batista admits she still optimistic his team can qualify for the quarter-finals. "We will play against Costa Rica on Monday (7/11/2011), and it is final. If we win, we will have five points and qualify comfortably. We have to play quietly," complete Batista.

Tim "Tango" for a while in the second position of Group A with two points. Colombia's top position was occupied by four points.
