According to reports the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD), the second F-15 fighter jets escorted a small plane this type Beechcraft Bonanza near the Maryland area. According to NORAD aircraft had successfully escorted out without incident.
"A civilian aircraft successfully intercepted approximately 11 miles from Camp David," NORAD statement was quoted as saying the Daily Mail, Monday (13/6/20110).
"Two F-15 aircraft escorted the plane out of the area (Camp David) and landed in Hagerstown, Maryland without incident," according to NORAD spokesman Stacey Knott. Based on reports from Knott, the plane has no radio contact but did not show any threat.
Camp David is one of the 11 regions of the U.S. imposed no-fly zone. Previously, the prohibition zone defined as far as three miles, but since 11 September 2011 attacks the zone was expanded to eight miles.
Regions the forbidden zone is located in Thurmont, Maryland is a family vacation spot presidency and often become a meeting place of world leaders. Camp David also has a U.S. military installation and is believed to be the safest place in the world.
