'Harry Potter' Released In E-Book Version

Good news for lovers of the novel 'Harry Potter'. The novelist, J.K. Rowling, announced the site will sell officially pottermore.com e-book edition of the novel 'Harry Potter'.

As quoted by news agency Associated Press (AP), Rowling has revealed about the special relationship with fans online. "I think this is a unique and fantastic experience," said Rowling.

Harry Potter novels are experiencing stagnant sales after the last series was released four years ago. Therefore, the publisher is optimistic, e-book edition will be welcomed warmly in the digital marketplace as well as in traditional paper versions.

Even so, the existence of the e-book raises concerns among traditional book store owner. The reason for this novel 'Harry Potter' became a magnet for young readers to come into their stores.

"If someone sells his own book, I could understand it. But it is a little surprising to me that the publisher will cut us out of circulation. It made us tough," said manager Hicklebee Children's Bookstore, Ann Seaton.

A beta version of the site will be launched on July 31, 2011, along with Harry Potter's birthday.
