Brazilian duo World Champion

ROME - Duo Brazil, Larissa Franca and Juliana Felisberta da Silva came out as the beach volleyball world champions by defeating the champion duo from the U.S. on Sunday (19 / 6).

Juliana and Larissa defeated Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh from the U.S. which is a double Olympic champion. Brazilian duo win 21-17 13-21 16-14.

This victory was greeted enthusiastically by the audience who meet Rome's Olimpico stadium tennis is supporting the Brazilian duo. This is a high achievement for Larissa / Juliana having previously won silver in 2005 and 2009 and bronze in 2007.

U.S. duo, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh are the world champion 2003, 2005 and 2007. They also won Olympic gold in 2004 and 2008. Between 2009-2010, the champion pair is absent in the game because of injury and the birth of two sons of Kerri Walsh.
