Apple's New Office Will Resemble Space Planes

CALIFORNIA - Apple said that they plan to build a new building that architecture resembles a spaceship. The building complex located in its central headquarters will have its own power source.

"New buildings at the complex will look like a spaceship landing," said Steve Jobs, CEO Apple, the Cupertino City Council.

As quoted from the PC Advisor, on Thursday (09/06/2011), Jobs said that Apple has 12 thousand employees in several buildings owned by them. "We plan to maintain the old building, but we need a new place that could accommodate the employees," he added.

"The growth of Apple's very fast, and we will always remain in Cupertino. The building we want to build is expected to accommodate approximately 12 thousand people.

Apple previously bought land from Hewlett-Packard. Jobs said that the land is very important to him when it was bought from HP.

Apple plans to build the energy center that will provide power to the building. In addition, Apple also plans to put parking underground.

"Previously there are 3700 trees in the area of ​​Apple's headquarters and we would like to add up to around 6 thousand trees," said Jobs. Apple itself will employ professionals to carry out these intentions.
