"We've worked well over the weekend and speed also becoming better. I feel quite comfortable with a motor that uses old tires. However, when replacing it with a softer tire on this afternoon, we just do not have the power grip on the edge. It makes I several times almost thrown. We could not even get a bit on the side of the tire temperature. It seems to be something we've tried, but it does not work, "said Stoner.
"I am a little disappointed because all we did was to change the pressure inside and that's certainly not the right way. I am a little frustrated with it," he said again.
However, he was sure would be better during the race.
"We know, for the speed of the race tomorrow, basically can do what we did in qualifying, so we're quite pleased," said 2007 world champion is.
Although the two Friday practice sessions affected by rain, Stoner said that was enough time on this day to pursue the lost.
"Yesterday is definitely not the best day for us to find the actual setting during the race," he said.
"His condition is 50/50 while the second session and we never really had time to set. However, today has been quite valuable, not too bad weather, the conditions this morning was quite warm, so the tracks work well," he said with confidence.
