The dog owners often say that their pets have an uncanny ability to understand the owners who are fatigue, depression, and pain. Dogs can still be recognized even if the owner tried to hide the signs of fatigue, depression, and pain.
Recent findings of experts proved that the phenomenon is an ability which is obtained naturally, not something acquired through the learning process. They prove it through an experiment using two groups of dogs, a group of dogs that have been tamed, and one group of wolves, dogs that live near relatives in the wild nature.
Dr. Monique Udell and his team from Florida University tested two groups of animals by giving them the opportunity to ask for food, either from people who care and people who ignore their potential.
In the experiment, experts found for the first time a wolf, as any other pet dog, capable of asking for food by approaching people who pay attention. This shows that the two species, both domesticated and wild, have a instinct "mind reader" to behave according to the level of human attention.
Thus, the experts concluded that both species acquired the ability to read minds from birth. Since wolves are not trained like a dog that has been tamed, who could ask for food to his master at certain times, dogs have a better ability just because they spend more time with humans.
