IMF burglarized Hacker Network

Network Institute for International Monetary Fund (IMF) has successfully broken hacker last week. Due to this, temporary disconnection was performed on the data traffic between the IMF and World Bank.

Reporting from the pages of The Wall Street Journal, Saturday, June 11, 2011, the IMF is currently investigating the type of infiltration by hackers who call themselves Anonymous is. Previously, this group had threatened to rip off the IMF as a protest against cost saving measure to overcome the crisis in several European countries.

Parties to the IMF refused to say what their findings in the investigation and the losses they suffered. However, Tom Kellermann, former World Bank network security expert who also keeps track of tissue damage, said the hacking coding that occurred in the IMF have never met before.

"This is not normal malware that is often encountered," he said.

Kellerman said the attackers had extensive access to the IMF system. This allows them to infiltrate into the network design as well as various IMF documents without being detected. Especially the most concern is burglarized document granting bailouts (bailout) to some European countries.

Attack on the network could make the IMF the World Bank decided data traffic. Both institutions are located side by side in Washington DC This is a powerful institution that handles the economy the countries around the world.

The World Bank said network traffic with the IMF is not connected with various important and sensitive documents. Termination of the network is only as a precaution only.
