Use Toilet President, Police Arrest


Harare - It's the reckless use the toilet, prepared for President Robert Mugabe, a Zimbabwe police jailed for 10 days.
He is accused of using the VIP toilets prepared for Mugabe and Jean Louis Ekra, Head of Export-Import Bank of Africa.

Alois Mabhunu, homicide investigator, undergo an internal meeting last week after using the toilet Mugabe on trade exhibitions held in Harare. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail.

A relative of Mabhunu on Monday (06/06/2011), stating that the police were not represented by counsel at a hearing the reading of the case. He hoped Zimbabwe's police chief, Augustine Chihuri, cancel the decision.

He heard the news Chihuri will study the case and attend the appeal hearing to be held on Thursday (09/06/2011) or Friday (10/06/2011) this weekend.

In addition to jail sentenced to 10 days, the rank Mabhunu derived and should not be wearing regular clothes (civilian) while on duty as an investigator.

Police spokesman Wayne Bvudzijena said the case is a case Mabhunu internal police discipline and the only problem. He said, Mabhunu failed to comply with the instructions and the law must be executed.

Mabhunu is part of the security team when Mugabe attended the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair last month. He is accused of using the VIP toilets prepared for Mugabe and Jean Louis Ekra, Head of Export-Import Bank of Africa.

A few policemen on guard around the toilet was intercepted and he complied. Maybe because it was not able to withstand hunger, he finally forced entry. Mabhunu arrested a day later he was undergoing detention since then.
