5 Characteristics That Can not Be Taught In Customer Service

There are several characteristics or traits that can not be taught in Customer Service.

If we could, we could do it because it will make things better, not just Customer Service. But we can not do it, so we work with people who we believe to have these characteristics.

Here are 5 characteristics that you can not teach:

1. Enthusiasm

We see it, feel it, and wish everyone had it. But not everyone have it. Often reflected in their faces when making a request and must show a frown face "wait a minute" that does nothing to help us believe that we need a service that is we expect better than that indicated by Mr. or Ms.. Sullen.

Enthusiasm is contagious and fun. People with enthusiasm everywhere, ready and willing to do anything to ensure we have an amazing customer service. This is reflected with pride when they do the job well, the attention given to make sure things run smoothly and the delivery of "Is there anything I can do Mr.. Or Mrs. Customers?"

People with enthusiasm almost extinct today. Victims of customer service "faster, more, and cheaper".

Do you cite "Faster, more, cheaper" or you try to grow the enthusiasm of Customer Service?

2. Happiness

Feelings of pleasure. I became convinced, if sometimes confused with the word happiness of Enlightenment. I want to ask you. Have you ever met someone who is happy? Really happy?, When? Do you think the home where "Happy Hour"? The point is when people are happy, will lead also to the end of happiness, or unhappy circumstances. In other words, there are limits.

I think there is no limitation of the Enlightenment. Even if you think so, this is not something you can teach. You can feel it. You can see it when other people actually feel it. You can not teach someone to Happy or experience of Enlightenment. They find it from within themselves.

3. Commitment

The feeling one has when deciding to do something no matter the cost or travel to be done. The ability to see it until the end. People who have a commitment not easily shaken. They are always one step ahead than others, focus on respect, goals, and the final.

They experience the trials and tribulations, and when you ask, they shrug and say things like "That's how we do it" or "This needs to be done." They have little concern for other people's ideas who can not see the world from his perspective. They shrug and say "This must be resolved, and I'm the person who will do it." You can not teach it.

4. Confidence

The ideas that one feels entirely, which repeatedly occur within them and said they were on the right track. They do not require your belief, and let you have what you believe.

Shortly after there is between groups, then every person in the group will feel it. Bang the drums that felt and played by everyone. It carries a natural strength for people who are not unshakable. When all have doubts, belief which helped through it.

I never had confidence and loss of confidence and I can tell you when we lose faith, literally can destroy the soul. At this point one has to find a small spark, which burns and start a new fire. You can not teach it.

5.
Behavior

Among all things, I want to have the ability to teach behavior. You can appoint someone with a particular behavior and said "He has a great attitude, you can do well if you can imitate it" and people will say "Oh, really. No problem. Behavior is adjusted to a maximum. Thank you." And so be it.

Or put it this way "Learn this book, read chapters 3 and 4, answer questions at the end of the chapter and you'll get the behavior you need in life." Exactly. The world would be a more interesting place if our behavior is organized and work together to reach the target.

"Imagine," as someone said. You can not teach behavior in Customer Service.

If you attempt to teach any of these traits in your employees in the hope they will be Customer Service Professional, forget.

Concentrate on finding people who have these characteristics.

Help them grow Enthusiasm, Happiness, Commitment, Belief and Behaviour. You will feel happier with the results. (Or get enlightenment).

This article was written with the hope you can do something with the thoughts and ideas presented here. Take action and be different.
