Obama Do not Know Now What Year?

LONDON - Everyone, at times, wish I could turn back time, and it turns out Barack Obama, too. President of the United States was wrong to write the year when he signed the guest book at the Church of Westminster, London, on Tuesday (24/05/2011), in his official visit to Britain. He wrote "24 May 2008", when they should be "24 May 2011, so he retreated three years. Before, he seems to have asked the head of the church, what date on that day.

About the incident, the British media, dailymail, commented, when facing a difficult election next year and criticism for his handling of the current financial crisis, Obama may hope that day is still on 24 May 2008, when he was a superstar in the arena of a rising American politics.

Obama's visit to the church that occurred a month after millions of people witnessed the marriage between Prince William and Kate Middleton at the venue. On marriage, Obama was not invited. Obama's visit to the church was built following the tradition of former President Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, and George W Bush, to lay a wreath at the tomb of "Unknown Soldier". He then wrote a message in the Distinguished Visitors Book is available in the place.

After apparently asked the head of the Church of Westminster, Dr John Hall, of the date of the day, Obama wrote, "It is a great honor to celebrate our common heritage and our shared sacrifice." First Lady Michelle Obama even stroked his back when he wrote and signed the book. However, these were apparently unable to prevent it from making that mistake.

According to dailymail, three years ago on the same date, Obama was campaigning in Puerto Rico, when he fought in the fierce battle in the Democratic primaries against Hillary Clinton. On that day, he received an apology Hillary Clinton who said that he stay in the fight because of memories of the murder of Robert Kennedy. Obama then said, "I have learned that when you are campaigning for several months as Senator Clinton and I have been doing, sometimes you're careless in terms of statements that you make, and I think that's what happened here."

Obama finally drove the nomination, defeating Clinton, then was elected U.S. president. However, since his election, his popularity declined due to the impact of financial crisis to increase unemployment in the U.S..

Well, events in Westminster was not the first time Obama made a mistake. At his inauguration ceremony, he made a mistake in his oath and should be re-inaugurated as president in order to make legitimate U.S..

Although one writes in, Obama still gets warm welcome from the crowd that gathered outside the church. They shouted "we love you, we love you". His wife, Michelle, a group of choir boys laughed as he teased Obama about poor singing ability. After that visit, Dr. Hall said, "It went very friendly, very relaxed, very interesting, and he is a friendly person, as well as Mrs. Obama."
