MEXICO CITY - Police recently discovered a bar in the prison attached to the detainees.
The bar is known to serve drinks beer, tequila and vodka for the prisoners.
Chihuahua district attorney spokesman said the deputy director of the prison where the bars were found have now been fired. Meanwhile, government spokesman, Jorge Chaires, also said that the guards who supervise beverages currently investigated.
As reported by the Associated Press, Thursday (5/26/2011), the new bar known to the authorities at the detention center Monday in Chihuahua City, Mexico.
Federal Police now have arrested 200 beer cans, 12 bottles of tequila and 20 bottles of vodka. The bar is also equipped with a pool table.
While in prison north of Mexico, seven prisoners have reportedly escaped by digging the ground from the prison.
