LONDON - album cover Dark Side of the Moon, an album of legendary group Pink Floyd, from England, has been selected as the most powerful album cover of all time.
The images on the cover of the album, a white light which is broken down by a prism into six colors of the rainbow, beat the cover of the album Nevermind (second order) from Nirvana, the band from the U.S., and the cover of the album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (the third) of the Beatles , which also legendary British group.
The covers of the albums also entered the list of 10 most powerful album art to a poll it is, namely, from Pink Floyd's Animals and the White Album from the Beatles. Will Groves, editor of MusicRadar.com, who conducted the poll, saying, "Pink Floyd album cover is a reminder of time when the art on the cover of the recording product means more than a hundred pixel-sized jpeg files in your iTunes library."
