Tripoli - A Libyan television station broadcast a video that looks healthy Moammar Gaddafi met with officials at a hotel in Tripoli. This is to answer questions about its existence after the NATO bombing killed his son.
Gaddafi, who has never appeared in public since the NATO bombing attacks on residential complex in the Bab al-Aziziyah and killing sons and three grandsons on 30 April, appeared wearing his trademark brown robes, sunglasses, and black hat.
"We convey to the world, those who become representatives of the tribes of Libya," Gaddafi said as he pointed to the guests and mentioned some names from them, then continued, "You're going to win," Gaddafi said as reported by Reuters on Thursday (12 / 5 / 2011).
A projection screen behind the Gaddafi show morning chat show on television station al-Jamahirya, a mouthpiece for government propaganda and Libya's main weapon. In the zoomed screen shows the date on Wednesday, May 11th at one of its corners.
Reuters journalist who was in the same hotel said several rooms in the hotel was closed for the event, but they do not look directly Gaddafi. Some time ago Gaddafi had made fanfare by entering the hotel accompanied by a number of staff and aides.
