Israeli Gay Community Urges Recognition

JERUSALEM - Homosexuals in the Israel insisted that their community is widely accepted, no matter what is written in the gospel about their existence. This push himself came from Orthodox Jewish gay community.

Living side by side with the majority of the secular Jewish community groups and accepting gay rights groups, religious gay community was denied the teachings of their predecessors, known conservative.

Decades ago, a Jewish religious leader known as rabbis, probably will reject this religious gay community. As an example, Yuval Cherlow an orthodox rabbi would have balked at this community, he even thought it only two or four crazy people are absorbing western culture.

However, Cherlow view changed when he was invited to a meeting of orthodox Jewish homosexuals.
"This problem must be accommodated immediately, I will act as their advisers," said Cherlow as quoted by the Associated Press on Monday (5/16/2011).

In the Orthodox Jewish neighborhood, which is in line with Islam and Christianity, homosexuality is very strictly forbidden. However, when this group of gay orthodox prayer seems rampant in some areas of Israel. The number of them even continue to multiply.

Their presence continues to be considered by the rabbis in Israel. But until now there has been no clarity whether this community will be widely accepted in Israeli society, or even accepted in the neighborhood rabbi of Israel.
