Prescott said: "If you look back, I wonder. I have the opportunity to discuss these things with Tony (Blair), then how can I support the (war) is that?"

He added: "Gordon just like me. He was born and developed as a Labour Party politician. With Gordon, world politics became much more serious. For him, the (political) is the difference between the (party) Tory and Labour."
However, despite providing support to Brown, Prescott has also been suggested that Mr Blair to sack Brown.
Prescott said: "I feel disgusted with both of them are always whining to me."
"I said to Tony, you are prime minister. You complain about the lack of information you want, if so, fire him, but do not continue to complain."
Prescott added that he had threatened to resign if it reached the Liberal Democrat leader, Paddy Ashdown, was given cabinet seats.
He said that Mr Blair asked him about the possibility of Paddy Ashdown to join the Labour party. I replied, "If he walked through the door, then I will walk out, no discussion."
