Thieves Bodies 20 Months In Prison


Nicosia - The important, although already a corpse, still very valuable. The three men eventually was sentenced to 20 months jail on Monday (16 / 5) in Cyprus for stealing the corpse of President of Cyprus Tassos Padadopoulos from his tomb.

The defendants, two Greek-Cypriot brothers and one Indian national, pleaded guilty to unlawfully entering and

dismantle the tomb, then took and hid the body of the president. The news was surprising island of Cyprus, the Mediterranean. Papadopoulos dismantled tomb and his body was stolen in 2009. Not only that, the president's body hidden in a cemetery on the outskirts of Nicosia, the capital of the island of Cyprus.

From the trial revealed, the two brothers were told that another brother dug graves back Papadopoulos. That their brother was in prison. By mastering the body, they hope to negotiate to get out of jail.

The second brother's body thief was convicted of murder. Police began to reveal the hiding place remains three months later when the third defendant, an Indian, Papadopoulos family contacted to ask for ransom. Kidnapping bodies, outrageous ....
