Fiction film sequel to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse won eight nominations at the MTV Movie Awards 2011. The third movie about a vampire romance with a man that was nominated for best film, while the two main actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart was also nominated as best actor and actress.
Other movies nominated are also many Inception played by Leonardo DiCaprio. The film received seven nominations. Behind Inception, following the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 with six nominations, and The Social Network with five nominations.
At the same event last year, Pattinson and Stewart has won the award for best actor and actress. It was the film The Twilight: New Moon get four awards.
This year Pattinson and his co-star in Twilight, Taylor Lautner are both nominated for a best actor. Both will compete with Zac Efron for the movie Charlie St. Cloud, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), and Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network).
While Kristen Stewart will compete with Oscar winner Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Emma Watson (Harry Potter) and Jennifer Aniston.
MTV Movie Award 2011 will be guided Jason Sudeikis and takes place in Los Angeles, 5 June.
