Found, New Ruins Great Wall of China



BEIJING - Archaeologists have discovered ruins of the Great Wall of China marks the latest in the mountainous region northeast China.

"Archaeologists have found stone blocks used the Great Wall of China in the mountainous region Suizhong County, Liaoning province," said Xinhua news agency. Similarly, as quoted by AFP on Sunday (05/08/2011).

"Part of the wall has been rebuilt during the reign of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), but some important parts have been damaged timeless," he added.

Previously, local farmers do not know if these rocks are part of the Great Wall of China, and some even use it as their home building materials. To maintain the site, the authorities did not mention in detail the location.

Great Wall of China was built about 2 thousand years ago to prevent the entry of nomadic tribes from the north. Until now the wall was still firmly stands, though it was rebuilt again and again.

The wall is in modern times several times parts must be destroyed, to build roads and other development purposes.
