Fukushima - assistance for workers in the Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Fukushima Daiichi, Japan finally arrived.
At least, they are heavy duty to prevent the occurrence of large-scale nuclear holocaust, can be slightly ameliorated by the presence of robots named Monirobo.
Monirobo be reinforcements for the plant workers who are trying to cool the reactors.
Brought to the Fukushima nuclear power plant earlier this week, Monirobo assigned to monitor areas that have been saturated with nuclear radiation, in which men no longer dare to enter it.
Monirobo also serves to monitor the level of risk of nuclear radiation.
Popular Science reported, a robot developed by the Nuclear Safety Technology Center at the Japanese Ministry of Education is tangible like a car tank with a height of 1.5 meters and weighs around 589 pounds.
Monirobo employed at the Fukushima nuclear power plant consists of two types. There are colored red and yellow. Red Monirobo deployed to parts of Fukushima, while the yellow Monirobo have more specific tasks with a digger and a sensor to detect flammable gases. Although different types, both are equally resistant to radiation.
As is known, the nuclear reactor at the Fukushima nuclear power plant back to remove smoke and steam. The workers who perform hazardous missions is still working hard to restore these reactors.
Hopefully with the help of technologically advanced robots to help the workers who are performing dangerous missions is working hard to restore reactor.
